An imaginative refurbishment to enhance rental values in London’s historic Dover Street

This imaginative refurbishment project transformed a tired office building in the heart of the Mayfair conservation area, with common parts and upper level office suites redesigned to increase values on an underperforming asset.

Complicated access issues and highly restrictive leases made the design, phasing and delivery of this project particularly challenging.

Careful attention was paid to addressing specific problems and restrictions within the building itself, and turning these into positive features in the new design. Low ceiling heights were heightened using infinity ceilings and office suites were redesigned using pre-finished modular joinery. Air conditioning units were hidden within bespoke joinery to create clean, uncluttered interiors sympathetic to the building’s architectural style.

SRP produced updated visualisations of the finished scheme to engage tenants. Our open and collaborative working style with contractors and consultants resulted in a high quality design which delivered the distinctive look necessary to achieve target values.

‘SRP worked with Parkeray’s team to resolve site based challenges creatively and pragmatically, finding ways to help simplify production and installation to save time and costs without compromising on design’.
