Our client wanted to combine two pieces of land, one with consent for 10 houses, to increase the overall density and viability of this development in a busy market town.

By organising the development around two interlinked courtyards we were able to create a denser but less contentious layout which maximised GDV.  Overall an additional 24 houses and 5,700sf of office space were achieved with just double the land area.

Listed buildings were renovated and sensitively incorporated in the configuration which focused on communal amenity space.
