Join Us – Architect

SRP are looking for a practical and enthusiastic Architect to join our studio in Shoreditch.

The role:
Work within the Commercial/Asset management team undertaking feasibility studies and developing options to enable (mainly food retail) clients to develop their property portfolio to support their evolving commercial objectives.
With a focus on stages 0-3, this role involves juggling multiple small scale projects with fast turnaround times.
As an integral part of this team, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop within the role.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • be an enthusiastic practical problem solver
  • have strong spatial design skills
  • be able to visualise, illustrate and present ideas clearly
  • pay attention to detail
  • be attentive, organised and pro-active
  • thrive in a friendly team environment
  • be willing to learn and take on responsibility
  • have 1+ years industry experience beyond Part II
  • be proficient in AutoCad; and either able to use REVIT / or be willing to learn
  • have experience using Adobe Suite

 

All applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • minimum of a recognised Part 2 or equivalent degree qualification, preferably P3 qualified
  • relevant experience in architectural practice in the UK, commercial experience an advantage
  • be able to illustrate their design and practical experience with a well presented, concise portfolio
  • fluent in spoken & written English
  • currently resident in the UK with the right to live and work here without employer sponsorship.

Job Title: Architect

Salary: £30-38k (some flexibility on this dependent on experience)

Location: Shoreditch, London

Full time but will consider part time & flexible working.
