Architecture is known for having long hours and high levels of stress but it doesn’t have to be that way. Today is National Stress Awareness day and we have been talking about how we can manage it, or better still, prevent it. At SRP we believe in resourcing jobs properly, providing support and mentoring and encouraging everyone to leave work on time. When life gets really difficult, we provide access to professional help.
We all cope differently and suggestions shared so far range from talking, getting outside and eating together, to filling the office with plants, pet therapy and exercise.
